Season 3: Surviving The Rest of The First Year

The postpartum period was insane, for me. I knew it would be. Thankfully, my little one and I were on the same page. He didn't want to stay that dependent either. I could tell he was eager to move since day 1. He held his head up early and was loving the jolly jumper by the time he was 2 and a half months. He started walking with our assistance at 5 months and took his first steps on his own at 8 and a half months. Each of these were amazing milestones for us both, as we both graciously accepted more independence. But... the first year was not without its challenges. And at the conclusion of it, I think it only became more clear that the challenges would never end. I'm not sure if they will even get better. But they will not stay the same, that's for sure.

Episode 1 - To Me, My Life Sucked

Becoming a mom nearly killed me. The first night with my baby was by far one of the worst experiences of my life. I was scared. Unsure. Alone. I was in the bathroom holding my baby while we both cried and I tried not to wake the people who lived above us.
